CLIENT-READY CREDIT

Effective August 1, 2007, Shoppers Confidential Inc. is introducing the Client-Ready Credit.

This credit will be included in the amount of your assignment fee and/or reimbursement, and is equivalent to 15% of the total amount you will be paid/reimbursed.

It is easy to receive this credit!  Simply complete your assignment as instructed, and ensure you answer all questions appropriately and accurately on the survey you submit.  Also ensure you spell check your work, and check for grammatical errors, and incomplete sentences.

What does Client-Ready mean?

Client-Ready means you have paid close attention and observed all shop instructions.  You have also ensured the survey you submitted is completed accurately and absent from obvious errors (spelling, grammatical, leaving questions blank, etc.).  Following these simple guidelines makes your submitted shop client-ready.

How does the Client-Ready Credit work?

Effective August 1, 2007 ALL assignments and shops will include a 15% Client-Ready Credit (CRC).  As long as you have made every effort to ensure you have a submitted a Client-Ready survey, and you have followed all shop instructions, you will receive your CRC.  There is no reason why any shopper should have their CRC deducted.

However, if your survey is submitted late, incomplete or contains obvious spelling and grammatical errors, you will not receive the CRC.  An amount equivalent to 15% of your shopper fee and/or reimbursement will be deducted from your pay and/or reimbursement.  You will be notified if you will not receive the CRC.

What happens if my CRC is deducted?

First of all, we hope this will never happen.  We contract with only the best shoppers, and truly appreciate our shoppers hard work and dedication.

In the rare case of having to deduct the CRC from a shopper, an amount equivalent to the CRC deducted will be donated to the Children's Make-A-Wish Canada Foundation.  You will still receive your shop fee/reimbursement minus the CRC.

Why are we introducing a Client-Ready Credit?

Typically all of our mystery shoppers do a tremendous job for us!  And for that, we are truly grateful.

Recently, it has come to our attention we are receiving the occasional survey that is less-than what we have come to expect from our shoppers.  For this reason, we are implementing a Client-Ready Credit to remind our shoppers they are providing a valuable service to us and our clients, so please do your best when completing your surveys.

We think of the credit as an incentive for a job well done.

My CRC was deducted, how may I appeal?

If your CRC was deducted, you would have received an email explaining why.  Unfortunately, there is no appeal process.

Our reviewers spend many hours ensuring surveys submitted by shoppers are Client-Ready.  If they see an apparent reason to deduct the CRC, they have the final say.  There is no reason for a Reviewer to deduct a shopper's CRC.  The Reviewer receives no financial gain or satisfaction in deducting the CRC.

The CRC seems more of a penalty rather than a credit

We certainly do not want to come across as an unfair company.  We would like our shoppers to understand the importance of the role they play in our company.  We have named the CRC a credit rather than a fee to remove any negative connotation.  No shopper needs to have the CRC deducted provided they follow shop instructions, complete the survey accurately, and submit it as scheduled.
